Vanes for Vacuum Pumps
Precision Plus supplies high quality precision engineered vanes (also referred to as blades). Precision Plus vanes are designed for use on many different oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump brands including Busch, Ulvac, Rietschle, Fisher Scientific, Galileo, Precision Scientific, Leybold-Oerlikon, Edwards, Alcatel-Adixen, Welch, Precision Scientific, Stokes and Varian-Agilent.
GX Vanes – comparable to the material used by many of the major pump manufacturers such as Becker, Leybold, Busch and Edwards. GX is a G11 fibre glass composite laminate consisting of a continuous filament glass cloth material with an epoxy resin binder. High tensile strength, low moisture absorption; works well in most standard applications
XL (XLon) Vanes - Carbon Fiber reinforced polymer composite. Higher tensile strength, lower moisture absorbtion than the GX vanes; for use in harsher applications
Carbon Vanes - used in dry-running vacuum pumps
Carbon Fiber Wrapped Vanes – Fiberglass core with carbon fiber wrap prevents the penetration of oil in the vane core, tolerates high temperatures and corrosive environments, ideal for harsh chemical and metalizing applications, similar to the OEM for Busch oil sealed rotary vane pumps
Precision Plus also offers vanes made from cast iron for typical Welch pump applications and aluminum alloy for Rietschle pump applications. For harsher applications such as metalizing or handling caustic gases, Precision Plus offer Torlon vanes for larger Leybold Sogevac and Alcatel model vacuum pumps.
Precision Plus vacuum pump vanes are guaranteed to meet or exceed OEM specifications and performance. We maintain a state-of-the-art inspection and testing facility where all vanes are checked for proper performance and fit. Every vane we sell must pass a rigid and thorough incoming inspection process.
